Question: I cannot connect to the remote FTP site. Why?

Answer:
Be sure you have correctly entered in your username and password. If you are unsure if it is correct, you may want to call the administrator of the server you are trying to connect to.


Question: I can connect to the remote FTP site, but the directory/file listing is blank. Why?

Answer:
The problem may be something that is different on your end. Possibly the computer you are logging in from has a different port arrangement.

Try this:

While in 32bit FTP's Connect dialog box, under LOGON Options, select [Passive Mode] and try again. Does this fix your problem?


Question: I am still having a connection problem, can you tell me what is wrong?

Answer:
We can take a look at your 32bit FTP session log file for more information.

Click the menu items: [Log], [Activity is not being logged...] - to enable logging.

Now, connect to the remote FTP site. Click on [Log], [View Log in Editor]. This is located in the menu bar at the top of the window. Copy and paste the log into an
email to us here.
